What is the correct APN For T-mobile

If you are having trouble with the internet on your mobile phone running on T-Mobile, chances are that your APN Settings are missing or messed up. In this post, we’ll help you detemine the correct APN settings you should use on your T-mobile phone.

T-Mobile APN Settings for Android

To Update or Add APN on an Android phone Go to Settings > Connections (or More) > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

We recommend to always add a new APN instead of editing an existing one.  Tab on the menu option (little 3 dots on upper right corner) and select Add

Depending on the T-mobile service you have, there are different versions of the APN.

If you are directly subscribed to T-mobile, either on prepaid or contract, then use the following APN:

Name: internet


Proxy: Leave Blank

Port: Leave Blank

Username: Leave Blank

Password: Leave Blank

Server: Leave Blank


MMS proxy: Leave Blank

MMS port: 80

MCC: Use Default, Do not change

MNC: Use Default, Do not change

APN Type: default,supl,mms

APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6

APN roaming Protocol: IPv4

Bearer: Unspecified

For those of you that have a prepaid service from one of T-Mobile MVNO (Mobile Virutal Network Operator), e. g. Straight Talk , Mint Mobile, Net10, etc.

Proxy: Not Set
Port: Not Set
Server: Not Set
MMS Proxy:
MMS Port: 80

T-Mobile Net10 4G APN Settings

Name: net10
APN: wap.tracfone
MMS proxy: Leave in blank
MMS port: 8080
-The other fields should be blank

T-Mobile Mint Mobile APN Settings

Name – Ultra
APN – Wholesale
Proxy – (leave blank)
Port – 8080
MCC – 310
MNC – 260
APN Type – default,supl,mms
